BIG Endocon 3

In the series of dissemination and training workshops organized by BIG Hospital, Patna, the 3rd BIG Endocon was held on 21st& 22nd March 2015. It was inaugurated by the Chairperson, Padamshree Dr (Prof) Vijay Prakash. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Thakur, Dr, Amit Kumar Banka, , Dr. Deepak from team BIG discussed in detail about basic endoscopic instruments  & procedures and how they could be used  to diagnose and treat various problems of liver, gall bladder, and GI tract.

In the evening renowned Gastroenrologist of the country Dr Piyush Ranjan  from Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi gave a talk on the newer drugs in the treatment of Hepatitis C. This session was chaired by Padamshree Dr CP Thakur, 

Day 2 (22nd March 2015) consisted of a day long workshop  on  therapeutic aspects of chronic and emergency conditions of GI tract, gall bladder, bile duct, pancreas. Procedures were performed at half of the general rate and 25 patients were benefited by availing the therapeutic procedures.          

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar was the Coordinator  of the programme.
