More than 30 Years Experience as Consultant Gastroenterologist. Has the distinction of establishing Gastroenterology Department in IGIMS, and Patna Medical College Patna. Was Professor & Head of Department of Medicine, Patna Medical College from 2004 to 2008 after which he shifted to the newly created Department of Gastroenterology as Professor & Head of Department. Apart from his clinical practice he is a passionate teacher and has organized and participated in many conferences and social activities.
