BIG Hospital was established at Patna in 2009 as a Centre of Excellence dedicated to providing comprehensive and quality health care to patients with Gastro Intestinal, Hepato – Billiary and Pancreatic diseases at affordable cost. Services included routine and advanced GI procedures, surgeries and radiological interventions with 45 indoor beds. However these services were being provided through 3-4 units scattered over Yogipur and Kankarbagh area of Patna. On 1st July 2018 we shifted to a new premises having a built up area of more than 1 lakh square feet and benchmark hospital infrastructure.  As a result of the tremendous faith reposed in us by our patients who come from all corners of Bihar, other states and Nepal, we also expanded our services. Apart from 135 indoor beds and state of art GI facilities we now have many multispecialty and expanded diagnostic facilities. All these services are now being provided comprehensively under one roof in the new premises located at Sheetla Mandir Road (Near Sump House), Pahari, Agamkuan, 800030. 

The new set up boasts 12-bedded ICU & HDU, Dialysis, 24-hour Emergency & Trauma, Orthopedics & Joint Reconstruction Surgery, Endocrinology, Gynaecology, Neurology and Plastic Surgery. These Departments are fully now functional as well as specialized Liver, Gut & IBD clinics. We are shortly going to start Obesity, Medical Oncology & Dental clinics. The Hospital is supported by in house Pharmacy, cashless /TPA, ambulance services etc. We have highly trained doctors from best medical institutions of the country and have the best and most advanced medical equipment available anywhere in the country. Teams of trained and committed ground staff are employed to maintain high standards of patient care. With this Team BIG proposes to carry forward the goodwill earned and pledges to serve the people of Bihar in a better way.
